Wisecrowds 2008: The Primary Care Revolution

The focus of this invite-only, day-long event is to engage the collective intelligence of the group to create new solutions. Participants will generate and prioritize ideas using collaboration tools to innovate concerning specific challenges in Primary Care.

View list of attendees.

Come ready to roll up your sleeves. We will learn and immediately apply methods, called Liberating Structures, that unleash innovation while working across boundaries (e.g., physician / patient, technical / social, functional / interdisciplinary). Together, we will:

  • Explore how the design and adoption of innovations can be BOTH a social revolution AND a managed process
  • Learn simple methods that can be used for complex prototyping or innovation
  • Link complexity science and Wisecrowd collective intelligence concepts
  • Help with vetting a health care prototype that connects physicians and patients
