Objective: Non-renewable, entry-level awards (maximum, $25,000 direct cost) designed to allow initial exploration of a new idea applicable to clinical care by a strong interdisciplinary team.
Eligibility: Open to principal investigators on faculty at an academic medical center or university in greater Boston.
Status: Not accepting grant applications at this time.
New Concept grants are non-renewable, entry-level awards (maximum, $25,000 direct cost) designed to allow initial exploration of a new idea. Review criteria include the novelty of the concept, its potential application to clinical care, and a strong interdisciplinary team. Successful applications must satisfy the Standard CIMIT Review Criteria. Resubmission of rejected New Concept applications is not permitted.
