The AAST/CIMIT Fellowship provides $75,000 for innovative research in trauma and critical care, and encourages the recipient to investigate new technologies that will improve the quality of trauma applications currently available. This is the first year the AAST/CIMIT fellowship was offered and will be presented again next year.
AAST is the Chicago based premier academic trauma surgery organization in the country. It was established to further the study and practice of traumatic surgery in its various departments.
